Cute and Clean hotel but zero amenities and on the higher price side compared with other lodging options. So if you are looking for someone else to make your coffee don't stay here: but if you want to stay where it is clean with great pillows and zero amenities, then stay at the Homestead. NOTE: reccomend they put a hook in the bathroom to hang clothes, towels.

My husband and I stayed at Homestead Motel over Labor Day weekend 2025. The reason for our stay was we were helping to move my mother from Iowa to Hollister. The owner was very accommodating and understanding as well as gracious in pricing with us, as we booked directly with the motel instead of a 3rd party booking. As well as they are themselves pet parents and are inclusive to patrons who can't be without their fur babies whether on vacation or getting mom settled into a new apt! We highly recommend Homestead Motel!

We went to Silver Dollar City. motel was GREAT! Run by 1 couple who made sure your stay was perfect. Accommodated our dogs, no problem. (Did have to pay a pet fee). There is a lot next to motel to walk your dog in. Plenty of ice in ice machine. This place is spotless inside, clean as can be.
