The Townhouses

Extremely dirty floors. See my attach picture of socks after going without shoes. I called the front desk and they sent someone to clean the floors. When the cleaning person arrived, I showed her the dirty socks. She promptly advised me that they were aware. That they tried to mop the floors twice a year! She proceeded to clean the upstairs and downstairs floors. Her version of cleaning was a spray bottle with blue chemical and a towel on a dust mop. She clean the whole upstairs and downstairs in about 10 minutes. Needless to say it was not clean. I personally think we needed soap and water. As a follow up, a few days later, I personally went to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager. Liz at the front desk went into the back and returned and told me that the manager was leaving for the day. His name was Donovan and that he would email Megan for her to follow up with me. Needless to say it’s a month later and nobody has bothered to contact me. Do you think they just don’t care?

Booked through VRBO as a queen room. It wasn't listed as a time share but we arrived and found we had to endure 2 high pressure sales people trying to get us into a 90 minutes time share pitch before they would give us our parking pass to go to our room. The room was smaller than most hotel rooms, it is connected to the larger condo through a pass through door. Not at all what was advertised on VRBO. A family was occupying the larger part of it and the thin connecting door meant every conversation could be heard. We woke at 630 to find roofers replacing roofs on the entire row of the building and the pool house right outside our window. They were throwing shingles and nails onto the parking lot all around our vehicle. I asked the front desk why they would rent those units at all with the construction and noise and they replied ,"oh well, hang out in an outside area for quiet". The construction was still going when we returned at 7pm. The TV was older, 3 channels worked and it was not a smart tv. The room was clean but the service and experience were horrible.

I would not stay here again. Toilet didn’t flush half the time. No cold water in the shower, just HOT. Window air unit looks like it’s been there since 1970. But works. Just didn’t like the place.
