Tribesman Resort

The good...there are a few lake activities close by and property, all just a short walk to the shore. The swim dock is nice, but you have to drive to it and we enjoyed the complimentary kayaks one morning. The part no one tells you...you are not really waterfront. No cabins/rooms have a lake view. The lake is behind a lot of trees you cannot see through and down a path that takes about 3-5 minutes to walk. There is a smell of rooting sewage outside and in the water inside. Both pools had cloudy water and didn't appear to have been properly cleaned the 3 days we were on property. For the price and access to other amenities near by to pay for (Indian Point Marina) or if you have your own boat, I can see how this resort is an ok option. Otherwise, I would spend a few more dollars to have true waterfront access and a more enjoyable overall experience.

I was searching for a place large enough to accommodate 7 people with plenty of room , near the lake and wouldn’t break my budget. Tribesman fit them bill and more than exceeded my expectations! This is a beautiful resort and offers great amenities for families! They have thought of everything, from the club house with free games and free washers and dryers, to soap, fish food and even swim diapers. Although we weren’t able to fish due to the weather, we will be back and try our hand at fishing off the docks. The indoor pool was very nice since you never quite know what Missouri weather is going to be like in March, so my Grandchildren made good use of it while we were there. The cabin we stayed in was very nice! Plenty of room for all of us! It had all the appliances and dishes you’d need and it was really nice to see the dinnerware and utensils for the little ones too! There was even a high chair if you need one. The only thing I might want to mention is that the rise of the steps in the unit (#1) is a little tall, so it was a little work for my husband and I to get up and down them, and we are in about average physical shape. The Grandkids were very careful after we got there to make sure they went up and down them slowly. I would definitely come back and stay here again! Thank you for such beautiful accommodations!

Stayed here this past week with my fiancé, his mom, and my mom. His mother rented the accommodations and they were PERFECT!! This unit could sleep many more than the four of us—there were 4 bedrooms total. On the main floor each bedroom had a large Mt bed and it’s own bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms each had 2 queen beds and their own bathrooms. This place was COMPLETELY EQUIPPED with EVERYTHING we needed! I’ve never stayed anywhere that had so many extras! Coffee, pancake mix with syrup, two patios, plenty of seating everywhere, fluffy blankets, an electric fireplace, every pot, pan, utensil, plate, cups, and and accompaniments you could think of. We honestly wanted for NOTHING! Had a Walmart delivery for our fresh food and we were SET for the week! The unit itself was SO BEAUTIFULLY decorated! Very comfortable and peaceful. It was quiet and we felt safe. Best experience I’ve had in a resort! Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again without hesitation!!! We were so thankful to have such a wonderful place to call home for the week!
