Westgate Branson Woods

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The photos of the units shown online are not representative of the accommodations we were given. RCI members, be warned, DO NOT STAY AT WESTGATE!!! The first cabin we were assigned was old, outdated, and obviously had not been cleaned before our arrival. There was hair, grass, and dirt on the floors, dead spiders in the bathtub, stained bed sheets with hair on them, and ants crawling on the bed. One bedroom had a strong musty odor, and the living room ceiling showed signs of a previous water leak, raising concerns about mold or mildew. After requesting another cabin, we were moved to a second unit that was just as disappointing. It was also outdated and poorly maintained. We found food crumbs under the dining table, hair and dirt on the floors, stained linens, cobwebs in the bathroom, stained shower floors, leaking shower floors, and thick dust on the TV and fireplace mantel. The air conditioner barely cooled one bedroom and had the same musty smell the entire time. We specifically asked that the second cabin be cleaned before we moved in. Housekeeping removed one candy wrapper from the kitchen and nothing else. I ended up sweeping and mopping the floors myself, and the amount of dirt I collected was shocking. I have photos documenting the condition of both cabins. As RCI members, we expected a clean, well-maintained resort. Instead, we received accommodations that fell far below basic cleanliness standards. This experience was unacceptable, and we will not return to Westgate nor recommend it to other RCI members.

We made the reservation online, had all the confirmation info printed and wouldn’t let us check-in w/o a 21 y/o. Like why wouldn’t you have that displayed in all booking websites? Poor management and networking. We were so excited to stay there just to be told we can’t

Just wanted to give Bill the front gate attendant a thumbs up 👍 he answered all of our group of 4 ladies questions respectfully and with confidence. We wanted to check out the facilities for a future trip. The facilities look so nice, clean, and inviting. We'll be back!
