Let's start with the parking lot.. this weekend was the state track meet and memorial day weekend so their extremely small parking lot is horrible. There was parking in back on the 2nd day but neglected to let us know you have to walk all the way around the entire building to get back in as the side doors are exit only which is EXTREMELY inconvenient when there is hardly any parking. Now the room.. it was filthy! Stains all over the wall that was either jelly, bbq sauce, blood? Who knows. Splatters all over the ceiling. The carpet is disgusting and filthy. The freezer part of my fridge didn't work, the sink by the microwave the cold water didnt work. The shower wasnt cleaned AT ALL as there were hairs all over the shower. There was a hole above the headboard. The walls are so thin I was hearing entire conversations from the rooms around me. The blankets are so thin you will need to bring your own. Oh and the elevator was closing on all of us every single time while trying to carry everything in. If it wouldn't have been such a busy weekend I would've stayed somewhere else!

The staff was very friendly and the hotel appeared clean. The shower did not work that well and breakfast was mediocre. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked good.

This was the filthiest most disgusting hotel I've ever seen in my life. Room was filthy and had trash remaining from prior guests, almost none of the wall outlets worked, and the TV didn't work. There was dirt and grime literally caked onto the walls. I woke up in the morning covered in bed bug bites, and after pulling back the sheets on both beds, I found a few bed bugs. I went to the front desk and complained and showed both the bed bugs and my back (covered in no less than 10 red, swollen bed bug bites), and the person behind the counter argued with me that what I was showing her wasn't a bed bug, and the bites on my back weren't bed bug bites, and after further discussion, she became angry. The conversation ended with her telling me to "f*** off." I then called Quality Inn & Suites' corporate parent (Choice Hotels) to complain, and they were slightly more helpful but still wouldn't give me a real refund, instead offering me only "Choice Points," all the while admitting that they knew this particular location to be a problematic location run by incompetent people, and that they'd had numerous complaints about it previously. My next call will be to the Columbia, MO Dept. of Public Health. Hopefully they conduct a surprise inspection before someone gets seriously ill staying at this toxic waste dump of a hotel. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!
