All I wanted to do was ask the front desk where I could put my large vehicle. 2 calls to the Phillipines to be told there is no Days Inn in Columbia Mo. I was (politely) connected to the La Quinta. I had to listen to all the prerecorded stalling. Unbelievable. Won't book a room here again. Haven't seen the room yet. The previous previous aren't very encouraging.

This is now an Amerihost brand. Nothing was o.k. Bad check-in. The building is badly worn out and incredibly dirty. Everything was dirty, stained or damaged. TV remote was crusty. They were having sewage problems with all the king rooms. I think there was only one other guest in the entire place. Heed the reviews. A local told us it is the second worse motel in the city. Red Roof Inn is #1.

First, the check in process took well over 20 minutes when there was clearly no one else in the hotel. The elderly gentleman working the desk demanded an ID from everyone staying in the room (which I thought odd as that has never been asked before). To add to this unusual encounter, he then refused to allow me a copy of my receipt that I just signed to pay for the “early check in fee”. I then asked to look over the receipt another time and he yelled that I was not supose to take a picture of the paper either... again very odd. This is a document with my credit card information, address, and name on it. This whole place just rubs me the wrong way. All seems little sketchy to me. Carpets have stains on them, AC unit is practically hanging off the wall, the room had an off urine smell to it, the bed is like sleeping on the floor, there is not shower curtain to prevent water from accumulating on the floor, and everything is outdated. Save your money people. This place gives me the heebee jeenees
