AC Hotels by Marriott Kansas City Westport 

The hotel, despite being well-located and having good facilities, is very bad. Room cleaning is chaotic. Change of swimsuit every three days. The apartment did not have the bed linen changed or even tidied during the seven days of stay. The bath soap ran out and even though requested, it was not restocked. Breakfast with very little variety and repetitive. In summary, the stay at this hotel was a terrible experience.

Extremely disappointing experience. The room was very dirty and clearly had not been cleaned as well as it should have been. I found what appeared to be rat or mouse droppings in the room, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. I called the front desk to report the issue and to request fresh towels, only to be told that they were “busy” and that my room would not be serviced. The way the situation was handled was just as disappointing as the condition of the room. The staff member I spoke with was incredibly rude and hostile when I was simply trying to address a basic cleanliness issue. For the record, the room is under my spouse’s name. I am writing this review because I do not wish to be contacted by the hotel. After the way your staff treated me, I have absolutely no interest in receiving a scripted apology or fake niceness after the fact. I expected a clean room and basic courtesy from the staff, and unfortunately, I received neither. I would strongly recommend management take a serious look at both the cleanliness of these rooms and the way guests are being treated when they bring legitimate concerns to the front desk.
