Hawk's Nest Lodge

Location was awesome right next to the Grand glaze bridge. You will need a car once you're here but it is close to everything. The room we had was a king bed very clean very comfortable towels were white as white can be. The staff was amazing it's a woman named Amanda she does basically everything and is smiling through it all. She does everything to make your stay worth wild. She told me she has only been here a few months but I seen pictures of before and after of my room and let me tell you what she did an amazing job remodeling the rooms. I just hope the owner knows she picked a great person to run this hotel and I would not let her go if I was you. And after her long days of working sometimes she come out and enjoy the pool with us. They also had a barbecue the day I was here for the long-term guests but I was also invited to eat and it was awesome. This place will make you feel like you're at home everyone there the long-term tenants are wonderful they're also friendly and invite you in and we'll talk your ear off they love the visitors they love to hear where they're from it's just an all-around great place to come bring the family and enjoy.

It was absolutely terrible. Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. Door was broken and had to have somebody break into it each time I tried to get in the room. (It looked as if all of the doors were broken or had been broken into) Bath tub was filthy with mold all around the drain area. Bugs underneath the bathroom sink and my friends bathroom sink who also booked a room there. The atmosphere was very sketchy. Not somewhere I would feel safe leaving my belongings at all let alone leaving my car in the parking lot. There was nobody at the front desk at any times. You had to call somebody just to get help. I only book to literally sleep for 6 hours and I couldn’t even get myself to stay overnight in that place. I ended up leaving and making the 2 1/2 hour drive home that night. They refused a refund. It is not worth the cheap price they advertised. I would rate this place no higher than half a star out of 10. Complete disgrace

This location is severely outdated and needs many updates and maintenance. Many people were actually living there and we were unsure about activities going on in the parking lot. We left the premises and asked for a refund.
