Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fenton/I-44

Decent hotel, large clean rooms and friendly staff. A couple issues...the breakfast is disappointing. I went to a local diner each day as the hotel breakfast was really difficult to eat. Second, housekeeping did a half baked job emptying only one trash can in my room, didn't make the bed and didn't refill coffee pods or replace coffee cups. I recommend this hotel for a decent place to crash but don't expect much in the way of amenities.

It was just, OK. The hotel itself was dated, but it was very clean and that is always a big plus. The front desk man when we checked in at night was very friendly, but the morning staff weren’t.What really frustrated us was the breakfast. The eggs were almost gone and were literally crusty from being dried out. The biscuits were so hard I couldn’t cut through them. My daughter started the pancakes, one came out and then it said it was empty. No one ever came around to tell so it could be refreshed and we could eat. We left and went to McDs across the street. If it were for the cleanliness and the night check-in, I would have given it a 2.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Fenton Missouri on the Hot Rod Power Tour. The hotel is located just off the Interstate 44 on a hill and is located new a number of food options. The room we had was very nice with a little side room with a single bed for a child. The front desk clerk, Gloria, was wonderful. she had a great knowledge of the area and even recommended a wonderful local pizza place that delivered to the hotel. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the location seemed really safe. The price was reasonable and the rooms was very clean. We will be staying there again.
