Red Roof Inn St Louis Forest Park Hotel

well the nice thing was it was near the zoo. and thats about it. the floors were dirty, the air conditioner did not work that good, it did not look like it was in that safe of neighbor. only one coffee packit in the room. you had to pay an extra 20 just to get a room with a mini frig.. only ice machine was on first floor and we were on the 3rd. my wife had what appeared to be a few bites on her in the morning. will not stay here again

Checked into the room, July 10, 2026 the room smelled horrible the next day I got up and asked them either. Cancel my Saturday or give meanother room but they wouldn’t cancel my reservations. They gave me a room for Saturday. The bed had stains in it like they just got through doing you know what so they gave me a sheet to put on top of the bed. I recommend not ever going there again bad experience. The staff is nice but they need their rooms taken care of better.

DO NOT STAY! Crime ridden area, unusable sink, rooms dirty, live bugs, water damage on ceilings. I called the health dept. They over charged me for a room that I didn't book but had to due to 2 rooms needed, increased price $100 due to last room. What a mistake. Gross, nasty and worst place I've ever been. At least we didn't get bed bugs. Filed numerous reviews and contacted the authorities.
