Bucks T4 Lodge At Big Sky

Attended the grand re- opening (after being closed for 2 yrs) was excited and have dined here twice since reopening. The restaurant and bar area was remodeled and updated while retaining the original charm. The space is great. Bottomline- the service is poor and the food average… and over priced. The service was slow for everything. Slow to get menus, water, drink order, silverware… food, re order of drinks. Everything was slow, no sense of urgency what so ever. All food items were average - steaks - bone in rib eye $80, trout, pork chops and chicken. Sad because as a local i loved this place previously. Went back a 3rd time to have a drink and burger at the bar… wanting my experience to be better. It was not. Sat at bar literally in front of the bartender for 15 minutes while be made drinks… 3 feet in front of him. He did not acknowledge me… no eye contact, not a welcome, not a i’ll be right with ya… nothing total silence…. So after being ignored i got up and left. Will not go back. Three strikes you are off my list. They were not busy- it was 5pm. Do not recommend.

We booked just for dinner. The place is well restored and modern but it was really cold inside. Our waiter was an inexperienced youth. We chose the chef's dish: red deer sirloin with vegetables My Friend knew the restaurant well so we trusted them. Even if the dish was well cooked, it was too little to share. But the price was quite high and the waiter had not said anything about the quantity. They were out of stock on the French red wine side which was still on the menu. The cheesecake was served with spoons, which spoiled its excellent taste. Therefore, we came out really disappointed!!!

Unpleasant experience! Despite having a reservation, we were seated in back, deserted dining-room by ourselves near the bathrooms. After waiting 35 minutes for a server to offer us even water, we felt frustrated and ignored. Our request to move a much nicer dining-room was ignored; apparently walk-ins were seated and reservations not honored. A disappointment; mediocre and poor customer service. We left.
