We booked a suite in Grey Wolf and despite of receiving their emails (4 times), calling them a day prior to departing from my home base, receiving email from their front desk confirming my stay for four days, they suddenly cancelled my booking and moved me to a neighbouring hotel! STILL they did not care to inform me. I only got to know once I reached Bozeman airport and called them to let them know of my arrival time. HORRIBLE experience with them. They did not realize that I was travelling with senior citizens and did not care to even inform me when all the confirmations were made. Reason was renovation, which is understandable but only if they would have informed me ahead of time (and NOT when I landed at BZN), I could've booked something else. I was scheduled to stay with them in May 2026, booked the hotel in March 2026, confirmed at the time of booking, in between and before landing and still they did not care of inform me about the new reservation. At least they transferred me over so we were not without a hotel but this was least expected. The recipient hotel received us well but will never visit Grey Wolf again!

We reserved a deluxe king and were put in a double Queen, supposedly because they were remodeling and the king wasn’t ready/available. What we got was a room that had beds without headboards, no towel bars to hang towels on, no closet to hang clothes or coats on, no hooks to hang coats, only two standing lamps that provided very little light to the room. Upon request, they couldn’t provide any other lights. The refrigerator was standing on a nightstand, which should’ve been next to a bed. Essentially this room is not finished being remodeled and should never have been sold. And we paid over $300 per night for this.

First to make some things clear - lodging in Yellowstone is expensive, it is not a year round destination and for example we paid almost double the price than Hyatt in Denver. However, having booked our room 6 months prior to our trip with free cancel option, I had plenty of time to change it. That never happened. Reason - simply I did not find a better solution in terms of price/quality/location. Location is great - at the beginning of town, 5 min drive from YP gates, 10 min walk from downtown restaurants and entertainment. Free parking. Rooms are average - classic two queens we're used to when touring USA. Pool is great - fair in size and perfectly heated, plus the hot tub behind. They serve a hearty breakfast to start your day of adventures - very good one for American standards. Nice touch are the cookies and smores kits you can prepare by the fireplace outside. All the staff was kind and helping.
