Moose Creek Inn

We made a reservation for three nights. Just before arriving at the property we found out my husband’s father died. We asked if they would allow us to change our reservation to one night because of our unexpected death of his father. They would not give any consideration to the fact that we had a death, a death that I offered proof of… ultimately we stayed one restless night and checked out at 4:30am and the hotel charged us full price for three nights. Zero compassion for my husband’s loss, zero help or consideration for my husband during an intensely stressful time. All I can say is, do better. Find kindness in your heart when someone is grappling with such a huge loss.

Very characteristic property and in a strategic position for the entrance to Yellowstone. Very welcoming check-in thanks to Riccardo. Rooms slightly small (especially the shower), but functional and clean. Excellent attention in the property also to those who are allergic given the non-admission of animals (this is also felt by the cleanliness and the lack of bad odors). The only flaw is having a room on the ground floor near the reception where privacy does not exist.

There are no stairs here, but we were good with it. Parking is limited near the stairs too that is why I only gave it four out of five. Anyone with mobility issues will want a first floor room. Very nice staff manning check-in area and a welcoming lobby. The cookies (evening) and mini-muffins (morning) are a nice touch since breakfast is not included. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. It was a decent nights sleep. I would recommend and stay here again.
