Midlands Lodge Hastings

The place was clean and excellent for the money. The bed was very comfortable. Great location, there’s a cool byob club a few doors down. The only issue was they could use some updating on the fixtures and it took a while to check it but I’ll stay there again.

Horrible experience. Would give it negative stars if I could. Me and my friend (both females) were traveling through the area and stopped for the night. Checked in around 1 am. It took about 30 minutes to get checked in and the guy at the desk was extremely rude. Once we finally got in bed we heard rustling noises all night long. Then we were woke up at 7:30 with someone knocking on the door twice saying “maintenance.” We did not call maintenance nor did we need it. (Or so we thought) Once we got up our bathroom door was shut and locked. No idea how because we left it open and it was unlocked but somehow it got shut and locked. When we went to check out the same guy that checked us in kept accusing us of having dogs in the room. Our dogs are back home in Texas. Overall would NOT recommend staying here. Very scary experience!!

Booked room through online booking agency when we showed up no one was there on the premises to check us in the pics of the place people are seeing are a false advertisement from what I seen of the rooms as maid was cleaning them they looked run down and scuzzy and beings the front desk clerk was out and there was a bad winter storm going on i had to rent another room from another motel the booking agency or the motel operator would not refund me my money bad place to prebook
