HOWARD JOHNSON INN - NORTH PLATTE

Very nice clean and nice staff but I booked a room with a kitchen , hob full size fridge etc so I could prepare my own food instead of fast food that is all to abundant in this overweight country … only to find there is not a single implement…. I’ve stayed all over the states never known this before you are basically paying extra for a bigger fridge and two sinks within 5 feet of each other … front desk were just doing their job but suggested I go and buy cheap pans cutlery etc for a three night stay 😂😂😂😂 I mean really!!!! I re checked web site and it does say with hob but unless you want cook some meth up …. Don’t bother go standard !!!!

We stayed here while passing through on a roadtrip. This place was just fine! It’s a simple, no frills hotel but the beds and pillows were super comfortable and the room was quiet. We definitely got a good nights sleep. The bathroom is very simple and was very clean. It’s reasonable too compared with some other hotels in the area.

The linens were clean and good quality. The room was pretty spacious and we got two comfy queen-size beds, which was very welcome after a long drive. They provided plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, but there was no soap. We managed with the left-over soap from another motel, but it was strange and disappointing. It turned out that they have run out of the soap supplies and been waiting for the delivery. I wish the front desk staff who checked us in had told us that. Another unexpected thing was that they don't provide a hair-dryer. So if you need one, you need to bring yours with you. That being said, the morning-shift front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and we had a pleasant stay.
