Residence Inn by Marriott Omaha Central

lol i'm laughing so i dont cry. i booked this hotel for the loft style room but i thought i was booking a different location - this was so bad. i had my kids and they laughed, people live here i heard a lady say that she was here until october when her apt would be ready. there was a lady at midnight in the laundry room in her undergarments doing her laundry. the rooms are horrible, mattresses stained the curtains ripped the door had a huge gap. Im lucky we got out ok , nothing missing and we basically used the room to shower and get ready for our event but never again. stay away it really is the so-nasty

This is not what we expected at all. Its not for out of towners. People are living here. The room was dirty, the grounds were dirty, and the top level was hot even though the bottom level was freezing. The ceiling fan was loose and making a loud ticking noise impossible to sleep through. Curtains were torn up at both windows. Pool was closed even though I read it was open until Sept 13th and that was one of the main reasons we booked it. A pile of rocks in the parking lot was a hazard. Strong smell of weed everywhere. Staff was nice and sadly that was the only good thing about this place. Total waste of my money.

This place is a complete dump and hotel management are incompetent. The air conditioning in our room didn't work at all. We were assured that the unit would be fixed the next day. The next day we were informed that the unit had been stolen before we arrived and would not be fixed. The hotel rooms also smelt like a dog and the grounds were dirty and very sketchy. The hotel was also unsafe and the police were called on two separate occasions in just four days. Hotel management failed to resolve our concerns and refused to provide an appropriate refund. Do not stay at this dump.
