The hotel really needs some room upgrades and better maintenance. Unfortunately, the condition of our room was disappointing. The lamp shades were falling apart, several of the towels had holes in them, and the shower head was coming out of the wall. The carpets also appeared to be in need of a thorough shampooing. Most concerning, a yellow substance dropped from the bathroom ceiling, which was both unpleasant and concerning while showering. The staff may have been pleasant, but the condition of the room made the stay less enjoyable. I hope management takes these issues seriously and invests in updating and properly maintaining the rooms. With some much-needed repairs and improvements, this hotel could be a much better experience for future guests.

The location is worth it if you are going to Lake Tahoe. 30 minutes away. Hotel is adequate. It needs repair and maintenance. Could use renovation. Refrigerator froze my food. But it is a basic night sleep if needed.

The staff was amazing. The issue became the amount that was charged once we arrived compared to the amount we booked online. The room was awful. The carpet was extremely stained and dirty, the curtains had wholes in them, not little holes, big enough to see through. The walls were very dirty. It appears they had not been cleaned in quite some time. They had trip hazards in the hallway with signs stating they were working on getting the carpet replaced. It was very disappointing. It felt rundown and unkempt. It’s a beautiful building and was not in this condition 5 years ago when we visited. The staff were friendly and helpful. They promised a full refund of the charges. I hope this property gets the remodeling it deserves or they charge a price that is equivalent to the accommodations they provide.
