High Desert Inn

The lobby is modern, well decorated and smells great. But the second floor hall is disappointing, it looks like another hotel ... there is a strange and unpleasant smell, old wallpaper and the lamps are too white, not cozy. Room 212 is the same problem. The fitness room and hot tub are great. My only suggestion: update the wallpapers... It will make a considerable difference

The lobby looks inviting. The rest looked dirty, including the room. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it smelled a lot like smoke. The front desk said it was probably because of people smoking in the stairwells. Their stairwells had lots of cigarette butts and were filthy. They gave me a different room, but it smelled even worse.

I stayed at the High Desert Inn recently on a business. I found that it was a basic, no frills, hotel. The room was basic, generic, clean and quiet considering it's proximity to the freeway. There is an indoor pool and spa that I didn't get a chance to use along with a basic fitness room and business center with two computers. The property could use an update and I found that the wi fi was totally inadequate for my needs, but if you are looking for basic accommodations, this would be a good fit for your needs.
