Super 8 Motel - Elko

I recently stayed at Super A Hotel in Elko. At first, I planned to stay short-term, but after about one week, I clearly informed the front desk that I intended to stay for a month. When I went to pay for the next week, the front desk suddenly told me, “You can no longer stay here. We already gave notice.” However, I never received any notice or warning from anyone. What shocked me even more was the extremely rude and harsh attitude from the staff. They demanded that I move out within 30 minutes. I asked if I could speak with the manager, but they said the manager was not available. I then asked if I could contact a supervisor, and they told me there was no phone number and that I could only send an email. I sent the email as requested, but never received any response. At the time, I also had personal medication stored in the refrigerator that required refrigeration. I explained this situation and asked for a little more time to make arrangements, but they simply said they “did not care” and continued demanding that I leave immediately. I have traveled and stayed in hotels across many parts of the United States, and I have never experienced such a lack of basic respect, professionalism, or compassion. I am posting this review to warn other travelers about the management style and customer service at this hotel. Even if a hotel decides not to extend a guest’s stay, there should still be proper notice, communication, and respectful treatment of guests.

The manager is very friendly and helpful, the services are all good, and the breakfast is superb. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the Museum. Recommended!

One night stay on road trip to California was comfortable & quiet. Price was reasonable. Service was good. Shower was hot and towels were thick. Refrigerator & microwave worked Breakfast was similar to comparable Super 8 we have stayed in.
