Super 8 Las Vegas Nellis Afb Area

This place is gross & dirty. Sewage smell in rooms . Blood on the walls .no hot water to shower ! Bed bugs ! Shame on Experian for having this on their website !the area around it is pretty scary & we had people knocking on our room door through the night

I made a 4-night reservation for this Super 8 on Oct 13th, 2022, using the Wyndham app. When I arrived to check in, I was told I couldn't stay there as it's not open to the public and is now a homeless shelter. I told him I had made a reservation and had even received an e-mail confirmation and confirmation number. He sympathized with us, of course. It's comical now, but it was late and we'd been driving all day and were left without a room on a NASCAR weekend. I've now made 4 phone calls to Wyndham and still haven't been refunded my charges. The last call I was told someone would contact me within a week. We're unhappy with Wyndham right now. The only affordable room we ended up finding is a Howard Johnson's in a bad part of town and the room is close to being homeless shelter potential.

As stated in the title we were very worried about finding accommodation along our route back home as all casino hotels were closed. Also pleased that there was the ability close by for take out food. One thing I should mention as well, the pillows were great!!! I should have asked to buy a couple!
