The pictures are all embellished - in fact, everything is absolutely run down.
Not only was the shower curtain crooked, but the paint on the rod was peeling off. There were also clear smears of blood on the shower curtain. The toilet seat was loose. The bottom of the bathroom door was completely rotten, and the paint was also peeling off.
All the walls were dirty. The fire alarm was broken. The opening of an old ceiling fan was only roughly taped over. The fan heater was as loud as a turbine. One refrigerator stank unbelievably, the other ran loudly for an hour at a time.
The gap in the door was so big that exhaust fumes could get in. There was such a noise for three days in a row that the walls and door shook, until 2 a.m. The operator did NOTHING.
Full HD TV, but VHS quality, because there were 20 rooms without amplifiers. WiFi was unstable and extremely slow.
A set of Headphones disappeared, but nobody's was in it, right, they simply vanished on their own.
Only good thing about the location is the location, two blocks from the Fremont Expirience, which is not a problem, unless the Container Park Idiots on the other side of the road decide to have the fireworks blastet up until midnight.
Everything was carefully documented and submitted with numerous photos and videos - the ones uploaded are just a few examples.
Two blocks from there, you can have a nice stay for less money ...

Excellent service from reception guy (Vicky?). Room unfit for use. Lights + shower + coffee maker did not work. Only light source mobile phone torch. Unable to shower (unacceptable as stepped off 16hr flight). Unable to access coffee or water. Unable to stay here. Obtained full refund.

The only reason you would want to stay here would be for the price. I booked the trip a month before and since it was for a holiday weekend, rooms at the other hotels were crazy expensive. This was the best price I could find on Priceline.
First is the noise. You are sandwiched between a night club on one side and a live music venue on the other. It's loud and stays that way until late into the early AM hours. Worse, the guy in the room next to me, who had some work type affiliation with the motel, thought nothing of blasting mariachi music past midnight. Bring with you a portable white-noise maker. It is a must at this motel or you won't get any sleep.
My room was worn--something out of a police show/murder mystery. Holes in the bed spread, cracks in the walls, bad plaster patches, and cig burns on the tub. The stand up lamp had no light bulb. A/C creaked along but managed to keep the room comfortable.
That said, a few perks. You are close to Freemont St. Everything is just a short walk away. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room for some reason did not have a coffee maker and when I asked the maid, she quickly brought me a brand new one. Linen was clean and I didn't get bit by any critters. The bed was old but surprisingly comfortable. With the noise-maker on I pretty much slept well each night. Wi-Fi was good.
**Hot water is scalding! Keep this in mind if you decide to stay there with a child.
Otherwise, for the price, this motel was doable if you are on a budget--but there are much better options out there.
