Stayed one night last week in room 31018.
Overall stay was pleasant- beds were comfy, plenty of outlets, great view, free parking. Only thing I didn't like was not having use of the fridge since it was stocked with hotel drinks. Taking or moving items would result in a charge. Would stay again.

Originally home to the iconic Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas before becoming Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton, this property had been on my list for years. After finally staying here, I can confidently say it offers a different side of Las Vegas, one that feels more relaxed, less chaotic, and surprisingly convenient without sacrificing quality.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt distinct from most Strip resorts. While there is a lively casino, I quickly realized many guests weren't there solely to gamble. During my stay, the hotel was preparing to host EDC Las Vegas, and many visitors were attending concerts or festivals rather than spending all day on the casino floor. That created an energetic but laid-back vibe that I genuinely appreciated.
The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. You're only a short ride from the Las Vegas Strip when you want the excitement, yet far enough away to avoid the constant crowds and inflated prices. Even better, there are several convenience stores, a CVS, fast-food restaurants, and local dining options directly across the street. This is something that's incredibly useful if you need snacks, toiletries, or a quick meal without paying resort prices.
Check-in was smooth, taking less than 15 minutes. As a Hilton Honors member, I also received a later checkout, which made packing for my flight home much less stressful. Throughout my stay, every team member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in providing excellent service.
I stayed in the Canyon Tower, one of the property's original towers alongside Opal. While the newer Ruby Tower offers larger, suite-style accommodations, I found my room to be spacious and thoughtfully designed. The large sofa created a comfortable place to work or relax without sitting on the bed, while the generously sized bathroom offered plenty of counter space for getting ready. The overall layout made the room feel more like a junior suite than a standard hotel room.
One thing worth noting: if you're planning a visit in May, remember that Virgin Hotels Las Vegas serves as one of the primary host hotels for EDC Las Vegas. Rates can increase during festival week, but the themed atmosphere and excitement throughout the property add to the experience.
Dining is another area where the resort shines. Having a Dunkin' on-site makes grabbing coffee and breakfast incredibly convenient before heading out for the day. I also enjoyed appetizers at Lucia, a contemporary Mexican restaurant that's especially popular for Happy Hour and Taco Tuesdays. My favorite discovery, however, was Pizza Forte. Open 24 hours, it's exactly what you want after a late night: a fresh slice of pizza followed by gelato before calling it a night.
Overall, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton delivers an excellent balance of value, comfort, and convenience. It's an ideal choice for travelers who want easy access to the Strip without staying in the middle of it all. Between the spacious accommodations, welcoming service, convenient location, and diverse dining options, I would absolutely stay here again. Next time, I'd love to experience the Ruby Tower to see how its accommodations compare.
If you're searching for one of the best off-Strip hotels in Las Vegas that combines modern comfort with Hilton reliability and a unique personality, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas deserves a spot on your shortlist. 4.25/5 Stars.

Mini bar placed in room counter, erotic sex kit not appropriate for family setting. The items are timed w an sensor and charged to room after 30 seconds. Never have I seen this and it should be told at check in. Also poor sleep as the room next door partied all night. Suggest this hotel for young college Spring break type setting. Could not wait to leave.
