Motel 6 Reno West

Over the weekend we stayed at motel west and met the drunk manager lena She mumbled on about being the manager and flirted with my husband as she slurred her words. Some old man came in and they started arguing in front of my kids . I guess it was her boyfriend. Inappropriate, unprofessional, a real s" show. The room was disgusting and graveyard shift was very rude . We will not be returning to motel 6 west.

I don't even know where to start. Smoke odor in room, on sheets, bathrooms and walls. Plumbing held together with cheap silicone sealant. Shady people and junk cars all over the parking lot. Exterior has broken windows, overflowing trash cans and dirty walk ways. The staff was pleasant, no complaint there. The place needs a make over and security to run off the losers and low life's. Guaranteed you would never see this a one of the major hotels. Just bulldoze it and start over.

None of the employees were wearing masks like they are supposed to be, that was an unpleasant surprise at check in. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but reeked of fresh cigarette smoke. The bathroom door hinges were coming loose, making the door very difficult to shut and open. The sink wouldn't drain. The floor was grimy and the AC unit appeared to have lots of food crumbs in it. The spot in front of the room was occupied by an abandoned vehicle (no plates), so that's nice. Safety issue. The door handle latch and deadbolt did not like to latch in the low morning temperatures, I basically had to throw my whole weight on it to get it locked. Then having assured it was locked when I left in the morning, the door was unlocked/unlatched when I returned, meaning someone who works there went in while I wasn't there and didn't make sure the door latch caught. If it was housekeeping they sure didn't tidy anything, or get the sink to work... Lest anyone think I am just too picky, I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations without having a bunch of problems to report. The microwave and fridge were clean, the sheets looked clean. The front desk lady was kind when I needed a new keycard.
