South Mountain Resort

Nice 2 bedroom unit. Had everything we needed. Spacious, clean, nice layout. Check-in was smooth with minimal timeshare sales pitch once I said I wasn’t interested. Good location with most services very close. Decent grocery store within walking distance. Good base for day trips throughout White Mountain region.

I would avoid this hotel. There is a construction storage area and a dumpster in front of Building 1 which is their main building. There were activities and loud noises throughout the night with trucks backing up, opening and closing if a dumpster and moving stuff from storage. The staff said they have never heard of noise issues at the hotel, which is clearly a lie. When I was at the front desk, there was a female guest talking about loud noises with the staff.

The accommodations were clean, spacious, and served our purpose well. The staff was professional, courteous, and accommodating. I'd stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.
