Best Western Silver Fox Inn

We stayed at the Silver Fox Inn on a Friday-Sunday in order to get a full ski day in at Waterville Valley on a Saturday. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s a small lodge and has a rustic feel. Very cozy lobby and common spaces where we spent time with friends in the evenings. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. They have a free included breakfast with some homemade options that were really yummy. The Waterville area has a few restaurants (both Valley Pub and Coyote Grill were great), an arcade for the kids, and probably more things we didn’t get a chance to see. There is a converted school bus that shuttles you from the Inn to the base of the mountain. You load your skis outside before getting on. So gear up and get on, then you are on the lifts in no time. Would definitely recommend and return here!

My room had bedbugs. I discovered this late at night and had to switch rooms. The staff was not very communicative or apologetic about the situation despite it being very clear that there was a problem as I caught a bedbug and gave it to them. I had to follow up myself to ask if the new room had been inspected, and I never received any further communication from the hotel.

We went here for a hockey tournament and they were fabulous. It was cozy and it was just what we wanted for our team to bond. The breakfast was good along with local mad river coffee. They have a nice fire place to warm up in front of. The 3rd level had another seating area as well so families or groups could spread out
