Empire Inn & Suites Atlantic City/Absecon

I've been coming here every year for 22 years through sever owners & staff changes. It has gone way down hill ! dirty dirty dirty !!! The manager was a rude racist !! too bad this horrible experience far outweighs the "ok" stays we've had here.

With regret, I must inform all potential customer that if all other rooms were anything like our room (114) stay away. Our room was so unkempt, odorous and unclean than motels I have stayed in alone. It was not the appropriate place to stay but, had no options with a no refund online payment in advance. The bedspread’s inside was dirty with spills on both beds, while one bed’s blanket was soiled and with cigarette burns. The carpet and bathroom wreaked with a musky odor. The window curtain’s valance hung on a screw or two. The reception employee seemed aware of its condition. Any 4 star rating was not reflected in any capacity other than in the parking lot. When day light arrived we were up, showered and running. This was not worth the room rate nor the stay. It is a situation I imposed on my wife in the face of an impromptu deviation on the way home. So if you are looking for an over night stay pretending to be a tourist even the tourist display stand did not know what it was suppose to be used for. We only found two flyers. We have photos as proof.

staff are very disrespectful and they make there own prices on the rooms not a great place too stay room service dont knock on door but just comes rite with there key card i will not be back ever agine
