Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel

Stayed here on my way to Seattle for a cruise. This hotel was amazing from the moment I arrived. Front desk staff was professional and courteous. I arrived late after my flight and the staff was so accommodating. The rooms are modern and super clean. Huge flat screen TV equipped with free HBO Max, Netflix, Prime. Beautiful city view, less than a mile from Reagan National. The bathrooms, so amazing!! The bed was so comfortable, I almost missed my flight. The sheets and down comforter was so comfy and next level, I actually ordered a comforter and sheets from the Marriott website. The next time I am in DC, this is my hotel! Thanks to the management and staff. You are truly exceptional.

This hotel seems to limit cellular connectivity and then forces you to either pay for WiFi or sign in with a rewards account to access the WiFi. Terrible practice and aimed at collecting data. Shameful.

Some carpet areas of the hallway were torn and held together with electrical tape. The dining room was only available from 3-9. The breakfast cafe was in available a few hours on Saturday and Sunday. The bedroom I stayed in was average size. There were stains on the bathroom wall that looked gross. The city view upgrade included a view of two trains, the airport, and some kind of industrial storage.
