Embassy Suites Elizabeth Newar

Had a confirmed reservation, with email, for one night stay at this hotel. Upon check in told "we are oversold," and I presented my confirm email. Sole front desk clerk says "this happens all the time." I asked for phone number of HHonors (not that my gold status would help), but he said any call would come right back to him, as only person working. I wrote to "customer service" on Hilton website. Received a reply in Mid May saying I could "look forward to response from property within three days." Of course, no response from Hotel--it has been three months. Wrote a letter to Hilton CEO over a month ago (he claims to read and respond to all emails); no reply to that, either. Hotel does not live up to any "walk policy" and they choose not to reply, either.

Easy access into New York by bus from jersey gardens in about half an hour. Room ok with two free drinks during happy hour daily. Room not cleaned during our five night break. Breakfast good with friendly and approachable staff . All in all , a very good stay . Would stay again.

The parking experience at this hotel was terrible. The shuttles come every half hour and they’re packed. Upon going to the airport we waited a half hour for the shuttle. When we returned we had to drag our luggage on to the AirTran only to sit outside and wait over half an hour. Every other parking shuttle came frequently to pick up guests except embassy suites. Needless to say I’ll never use this parking lot again!!!
