On top of that, the room itself was a major disappointment: the bathtub was outdated and uncomfortable, the towels were old and torn, and the living room curtains barely opened.
Furthermore, during booking, it was not clearly stated that 'breakfast' only consisted of coffee and a pastry at a restaurant. We asked to cancel it and receive a refund. While they gave us a $20 credit per person, they still charged us for the first day because I signed the receipt. However, we did not actually eat, and the waiter assured us he would credit us for that first day as well which ultimately never happened
