Econo Lodge MacArthur Airport

The room signage indicated our room was a non-smoking room however the room smelled of past smoking.There was no continental breakfast even though the sign in the lobby said it would be available. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room. Also absent was an iron and board. The micro wave could not be used on the wall unit where it was located because it was totally enclosed and could not be plugged in. We had to pull it out and put it on the floor to plug it in. On the positive side, check in was smooth and the housekeeping staff were helpful. The cost was reasonable.

A budget hotel near the airport. It was fine in the sense that everything worked -- hot water, AC, refrigerator, etc. The room was clean, as were the towels and sheets. Checkin was fast and efficient. But I'm knocking off a couple of stars because (1) It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it absolutely stank of ciagarette smoke, and (2) it was supposed to have WiFI in the room but the WiFi didn't reach beyond the lobby. With some many things requiring on-line access these days, this is a dealbreaker for me, and with WiFi extenders so cheap now, there really is no excuse for it.

This place is a dump. To be more clear, it's awful. We just stayed 1 night as we had a early flight at the airport. It was just awful. Old, beat up and dirty. The building stunk, our non-smoking room stunk. y girlfriend The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny and awful. Black stuff (Mold?) came out of the shower heard when my girlfriend went to shower. No shuttle to the airport a few miles away. No coffee in the room or anywhere in the hotel? Rude service. Truly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
