Hampton Inn Brookhaven Long Island

Clean hotel and room. No odd odors (musty, overly fragranced, etc). Breakfast was good, with a variety of options and the staff did a good job of keeping the area clean. We had an issue with the toilet and maintenance came up within 5 minutes of call and they were congenial and helpful. The only negative was the parking situation - pay $15 to park, but when we returned to the hotel after 10pm, there were no spots and we had to park in the fire zone along the curb with many other cars. But they had allowed a giant box truck to park across ~6 spaces and also taped and coned off another 6+.

Stayed 3 days in a room with cigarette burns in the carpet and on the furniture. Hotel policy states stays more than 2 days would receive cleaning room service. None was provided even after notifying the front desk of no service. Will serious consider not staying at a Hampton inn by Hilton. A Hilton member.

We've stayed here multiple times over the past few years, but will not be returning due to the $15 parking fee. Rooms are nice & clean & staff is friendly, but this fee is a show stopper for us. There are plenty of other hotel choices locally without the fee.
