Holiday Inn Hasbrouck Heights - Meadowlands

What a great room. Comfortable. Nice size. I think I was upgraded being an IHG member. Bed was perfect. Pillows were perfect. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time and I travel weekly.

I just called to ask if I can hang around the pool since the check in doesn’t start until 3 pm but my arrival is around 11am, and the front desk lady said NO because I’m technically not their guest yet . I understand that but this is a first time I’m getting this response from a hotel. Never have experienced that before and I travel! Shame because I’ve stayed there before and don’t remember negative experiences from the staff. I canceled my reservation.

Stayed here while going to NYC to see the lights. This place is good for an overnight. We had no issues with check in. The room was much bigger than what you’d get in NYC and the rate was much more reasonable. The beds were comfortable, room temperature was fine, bathrooms were clean. There did seem to be a little issue with the water pressure, but a shower is a shower after a day in the city. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but I’m sure it was fine. I agree that the set up is very odd, however I would not hesitate to stay again
