The location is ideal. You’re a short walk from Central Park, there is a subway stop at Lexington and 59th that will get you pretty much anywhere and you are right by Fifth Ave for that shopping binge.
The room was basic but clean and well are conditioned which was a must in 35c heat! A decent bathroom with a bath and shower, again all clean and well maintained. Staff were super friendly and a check out time of 12:00 with the additional benefit of a luggage storage service made our last day a breeze, they even recommended a good time to leave and booked a cab for us. The value is harder to work out as I stayed as part of a package deal but I certainly felt like I got good value, so no complaints from me.
Would I stay here again? Without a doubt. It’s not the Plaza so don’t come expecting in paralleled luxury, but as a base for explore Manhattan, it’s hard to argue with.
