Serenity at Home

A complete nightmare. If I could rate this place a zero star I would. Unprofessional. It is far away from JFK. You cannot check in if your flight is delayed past midnight. You are staying in an old house.

We stayed three nights at this B&B and enjoyed our time there. Zenobia is a lovely host who wants to make sure her guests feel at home. There are some nice touches like fresh bread and bagels and music quietly playing in the dining room and so on. Serenity is a very fitting name as the area is quiet. It's full of character and tastefully decorated. It's also conveniently located close to the Prospect Park subway station. Like many similar older buildings access is by stairs. If you have limited mobility or heavy bags ask about room options.

We booked this place years ago and stayed here for 5 days. The host Zenobia is one of the nicest people you will even meet. The rooms were big and spacious with a shared bathroom in the hall. The place is not too far from the Subway that takes you right into the city. Otbwas nice to escape the business of the city in the evenings and stay in Brooklyn
