This hotel is in a good location and it was clean and comfortable. The room was small, but that is to be expected in NYC. However, our room, despite being on the 8th floor, let in a LOT of street noise. It sounded like the windows were open even though they were not. I suspect this has something to do with how the air conditioners were installed (below the windows, and through the exterior wall), but be warned that if you are a light sleeper, you should get a room away from the street if possible. If I had not had earplugs with me, I would not have gotten a wink of sleep. Another slight/minor inconvenience was that the single elevator was very slow to arrive on our floor when called. The worst thing, though, was that they ran out of hot water one morning, which caused us to have to choose between a cold shower before we headed out for the day or skip a shower. NYC was in the middle of a heat wave so skipping a shower was really not an option. So, myself, my daughter, and my husband gritted our teeth and each took a quick, cold shower. At checkout the next day, when I asked the hotel if they could take anything off our bill because of the lack of hot water, they refused, saying the hot water was out for "only 15 minutes." Of course, it was more than 15 minutes. It was more like an hour. I think I spent at least 10 minutes, prior to our even taking showers, trying to coax some hot water from the tap. A small credit on our bill, given that the rate was about $500 a night, would have been appreciated.

The hotel staff are amazing. Everyone one. Very helpful, courteous and definitely would stay again

I stayed with my partner for 6 nights and the last two there was no water and hot. We had to leave without being able to shower!!! I requested a refund of at least one night and the staff told me they could do nothing. The hotel is correct, but the customer service was unfortunate. I wouldn't come back.
