Alarm went off multiple times in our room. Night manager finally moved us to a room at 4 am. No room cleaning next day even though was promised. Was told next morning “oh yes the ninth floor has lots of alarm problems.” This place has major problems and if you like to sleep through the night without a blaring alarm in your face then don’t stay here.

As long as you understand that this is a boutique hotel with small rooms (as advertised) with no breakfast buffet - it is great. I found it very affordable given the high-end neighborhood. Room was comfortable and quiet. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful. In my 3 nights there, everything was cleaned at set up well. Very easy walking distance to so many attractions in Manhattan; 3 blocks from Central Park.

The entire experience was horrible. The small entry requires navigating five steps between two doors that do not stay open. You must navigate these steps while carrying your luggage (probably and ADA violation). The elevator has a swinging door, making entry/exit with luggage difficult. The room was so small that there was no space where two people could pass each other. The room was almost completely occupied by two double beds - they almost filled the room. The bathroom was so small that the small pedestal sink was located in a niche barely wider than the sink and could be accessed or used with difficulty, even by an average sized person. The closet was tiny, there was only one small table on which to place personal items, the lighting was dismal and insufficient and there was no room for luggage, and it only could be opened on the bed. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is the worst U.S. hotel we ever stayed in.
