Wyndham Garden LIC Manhattan View

We came in at 7am and we had a reservation for 8am. Blanca the supervisor said she can’t check us in till 8 so we waited around. Then at 8 she said the room wouldn’t be ready till 840 and there was nothing she could do to compensate us or get it ready faster. Thanks for wasting our time and being rude about it too. Hotel is unkempt and dirty. Don’t stay here

Hotel showed availability for our trip. On their website and in 3rd party sites. Booked only to arrive to find that it had been turned into a shelter. Why were they still taking reservations? No one from the hotel came to help us nor answered their phone. Only a man in uniform saying this is no longer a hotel. No notification by email or phone. So we’re 2 women stranded there with suitcases in the rain in an unfamiliar area. No one from Wyndham would help us either, spent 100’s of extra dollars finding last minute lodging. Last time I will use Wyndham and avoid this place because who knows what you’ll show up to.

Hotel requisitioned by the state to accommodate migrants!!! Arriving at 1 a.m. we were greeted by the people who take care of migrants. They told us to stand in a corner so we could find another hotel. a real hassle, not even received an email to warn us! it is shameful !
