Checking in was a complete joke. The woman at the front desk was either high or had some mental issues as she took close to 25 minutes per person to check in. It was so bad there was a line out the door of people, with reservations, waiting to check in. She didn’t explain where our room was, just handed us a map, and sent us on our way. Since it had been 50 minutes since we got to the hotel we were in no mood to push it. The room was 80 degrees when we walked in because housekeeping had shut off the room AC. By the time we went to bed the room was down to 76 and the poor AC unit was extremely loud to the point that we turned it off. The room itself was ok, no microwave or mini fridge, and the pillows were hard as a rock. We will never stay here again, period. Should have driven the additional 5 hours home that night.

This location is really dated. They have cut labor and most places have one person doing it all. Restaurant has one person working. She cooks, waitress, cashier. Bar area one bar tender that does drinks and food without a bar back so she is running around. Front desk person was in training and was trying to help multiple people at same time. Room cleaners missed our room had to call and get towels since they didn’t clean the room. Road noice is very loud. It’s a pass for next time. Staff works their butts off. Just a worn out location.

I was sorely disappointed in my stay here and I am a long time IHG Honors member. I made my room reservation 10 months in advance for a business trip (with Govt employee discount). I called to modify my reservation five months out (I needed to shorten my stay). They did not modify my stay, my reservation was rebooked at a new rate, an additional $100/Day. The desk clerk told me over the phone that that was their practice and they were heavily booked during that time period. What does that have to do with anything? When I arrived to check-in, the desk clerk was surly and would not honor our tax exempt status. (I had our tax exempt certificate) Their breakfast restaurant was understaffed and we had a poor experience there. We ate breakfast at other locations the other mornings. We outdoor pool was not heated as advertised. The sliding doors to the balcony were filthy.
