Hotel Parq Central

I so enjoy the ambiance at HPC. The location is convenient, and service is great. I always stay there when in ABQ. Love the care they put into details - breakfast, patio, gardens, music, garden room. It’s so comfortable!

Very nice stay, my room was very nice

The property itself is beautiful, but our stay was disappointing. We booked a room for our family of four because it was advertised on hotels.com as having a king bed and a queen pull-out sofa. The pull-out sofa was nowhere near queen-sized and was extremely uncomfortable, with the springs clearly felt through the mattress. It was not suitable for the sleeping arrangements we expected when booking. When I raised the issue with management, I was told, “We have no contract with Hotels.com … therefore I cannot vouch for what they advertise.” As a guest, that response was frustrating. Travelers rely on room descriptions when making reservations, and I would expect the hotel to take some responsibility when the accommodations do not match the advertised description. We ended up having to book an additional room and again management was unwilling to give us a discount or resolve satisfactorily. In addition, the hotel hosted a wedding during our stay. The DJ blasted music for most of the evening which was heard in both rooms and we were unable to use most of the common areas between 3pm and 10:30pm. There was no advance communication about these limitations. If you have issues at this particular hotel neither the manager, Noel, or managing director, Yancy, will resolve in a professional manner. Their lack of experience in the hospitality industry is evident in their dismissive attitude and failure to address legitimate guest concerns professionally.
