Motel 6 Raton

Checkin was OK. However it did take a while because they weren't through cleaning the rooms. The room was not very appealing. Shower curtain had mold on it and the sink was all cracked. Definitely needed some upgrades. It just felt dirty.I was also told it would be $25 to have dogs but was not told ir would be $25 for each dog. So this room ended up costing me much more than we had expected. From what we read on the website we sure thought it would only be $25 total. All we had was 2 small chihuahuas. I could have stayed somewhere nicer for the price. I did not take any pictures. Just wasn't a very pleasant experience.

Everything was alright. Breakfast could have been better but nothing was bad. Parking was available near the door but that is because it was a week day.

The room is very comfortable, and the staff are great. The staff are always polite and courteous. The beds are very comfortable. I stay here 4 times a year when I pass through Raton. The breakfast is all carbs, but I rarely take advantage of it. This is an older motel that is in the process of remodeling, so please keep that in mind when you stay there.
