When we pulled up to the front I was a little scared. The outside looks sketchy. The windows look dirty. I was worried. We parked in the back since it was closer to our room and discovered the back door was broken. Again, yikes but when we got in it was surprisingly clean. It was only one night so no big deal but I don’t think I’d stay here multiple nights.

The hotel was undergoing renovations or system upgrades or something... the elevators were out of service so we took a first floor room. The outside door key "pads" were out of service during our stay. The AC was ok, but could have been cooler and a little quieter. The place was clean enough. The bed was fine. Laundry machines are operated with coins or app. Only a washer and a dryer on the main floor. I'm not sure if the hotel has more machines on other floors...
Staff were friendly. There was a long line to check in. The place was really busy when we arrived. This is not a great location for tourist activities in Santa Fe, but the hotel location is easily accessible via a popular main road. Good value and convenient for a one night stay.

First, Ryan at the front desk was awesome and should be given a big raise and promotion! He really helped me out with a last minute booking. That said, the hotel overall fails miserably on several important aspects. IT NEEDS A LOT OF MAINTENCE!
The back door of the hotel is complexly broken and unlock at all times! The whole latching mechanism is drilled out! When my husband asked about it, the response was, "yeah we know", but the guy at the desk (not Ryan) acted like it was not a big deal.
The whirlpool didn't whirl, the knob to turn it on was stripped and the desk guy (not Ryan) said it was just low pressure.... his Jedi mind trick was not the case, its BROKEN. The cleaning staff were terrible. We stayed 3 nights, we were suppose to have service "every other day", and we expected it the after our second night, nope, no service, and we had two rooms that really needed service. Then when I complained to the front desk, the clerk (not Ryan) just acted surprised that we hadn't had service to the rooms the day before because we, "should have been on the list" and he, "didn't know what happened". We had been gone all day and when we left, the maids were just hanging out in the hall.
Thirdly, they ran out of paper plates for breakfast for two days that we were there and we had to eat a waffle in a bowl. Lastly, the one and only elevator has been broken for over a month. So to get to the second floor, you are walking the stairs with ALL your luggage... Don't get me wrong, with better management, maintenance and a staff like Ryan, this could be a decent hotel. I really hope they get it together and stop being complacent about these issues. It's also a very small hotel for reference.
