El Pueblo Lodge

2nd floor - double queens- very comfortable beds except room air system very close to one headboard that created sound when in use . Breakfast for three mornings were pretty good - breakfast staff was very accommodating and friendly.

We stayed one night at the El Pueblo Lodge during our trip in New Mexico. The room was spacious, comfortable, and tidy, with everything necessary for the stay. We appreciated the recommendation received at the front desk for dinner: the suggested restaurant turned out to be an excellent choice. Breakfast also turned out to be quite varied and pleasant at the outdoor tables. Unfortunately, however, the property as a whole seemed poorly maintained to us. The chairs outside the room were dirty and the stairs were not clean at all either. Having arrived late, we did not use the pool which, however, being located practically in the center of the parking lot's car transit area, did not seem to us to be in the optimal position for relaxing. The location is convenient for visiting Taos and the surrounding area, but the price/quality ratio could be improved with greater attention to common areas.

The staff are all excellent and friendly. Our room is spacious and well-thought-out with plenty of room and the amenities here are great as well. The layout and amenities are well thought out—nice big bathroom, shelves, luggage racks, and more. The breakfast was all-you-can-eat and included tamales, beans, cereals, bagels, waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, and more. There is also an all-day coffee machine for guests. There is a courtyard with tables where guests can eat outside as well as a swimming pool. We've had such a great experience here and will stay here every time we come to town.
