I booked this hotel, as Batavia is the closest town to the Rolling Hills Asylum. We've always had good experiences with Best Western hotels, and we assumed this would be no different. We arrived for check-in ~4:30ish, driving from Pennsylvania. We were greeted with a surly front desk clerk, giving us one word directions & barely answering questions. She did give us the tidbit that the only icemaker for the hotel was not operational...but we could buy cold drinks from the vending machine. We opened the door to our room, and the musty smell hit us right away. The room was warm, so we dropped the temperature. The room was generally quiet. We got up early & headed to the "included" breakfast...at 7:30am, the line was out of the room with no place to sit. We quickly gave up on the breakfast & drove through Dunkin so we could get on the road. For the price of the room...given the musty smell, the surly check-in clerk, the inability to get breakfast in a timely manner...I cannot recommend this hotel. At over $200/night, it is definitely not worth it.

Literally went to our room, our card opens the door and someone is already sleeping in the bed. They can’t figure out who the people are, no other rooms available. Now it’s 10:30 we are trying to find any other hotel with our family of 4 with all of them being sold out. Couldn’t even give us a receipt for proof for the refund that will come who knows when.

Average motel. Easy to find. Some cleanliness issues in room. Sad WiFi in rooms that would drop out multiple times per hour. Bed OK, Staff OK. We'd probably look for another place, next time around.
