DAYS INN BATAVIA DARIEN LAKE THEME PARK

My fiance, dog and I booked two nights here September 2nd to the 4th. Upon checking in and walking into our room, the blinds were torn, there was trash pushed under and behind the furniture, and cigarette ash and butts everywhere. We asked to cancel our reservation and be refunded for the state of our room. The room was disgusting. The woman at the front desk, Jennifer, told us we had to go through expedia for our refund since we booked through them. Expedia refunded our cancelation. The Days Inn hotel still pulled money out of our bank account for both nights after it was pending for 5 days. After a long process of trying to get in touch with someone about why we were still charged for the room, we were told we'd be contacted about our "complaint" and then it would reviewed. That was over a week from me writing this review and we have yet to hear anything. I would never stay here and I highly recommend not giving this company any service.

Stayed at the Days Inn Batavia NY. 2 rooms both horribly rundown and dirty, no remotes, showers were filthy, not that it mattered as there was no hot water. The "free" breakfast must have actually found it's freedom because it wasn't anywhere to be found at the hotel. Contacted Wyndham "Customer Care" online and after several months of back and forth jumping through hoops they offered me $50. For 2 rooms the lack of the breakfast alone cost me more than that. They couldn't care less. They are counting on baffling you with BS and bureaucracy hoping you'll just go away.

This motel was one of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed at. The outside grounds looked like the place was deserted and the inside was very dirty and neglected. The outer doors had no working locks for security.
