Recently I stayed with my family at Comfort Inn Brooklyn while I was visiting New York for my son tennis Camp.I was very pleased with my stay. My kids loved the hotel and the room. the staff was veryhelpful. The hotel was sold all 3 days we stayed , The rooms were very well kept and super clean. It looked like they just did a complete renovation. I would definitely roccomend this hotel. The lady working in the breakfast room was very nice. I would stay at this hotel when I visit New York.

Customer Service: Just checked in for a two night stay with my family. The front desk clerk, Andrea, was not welcoming at all. My husband asked Andrea if a room was available on a higher level, since our assigned room is directly across from the potentially noisy breakfast room area. She proceeded to tell us that this is the room that we've been assigned. She did not attempt to check to see if another room was available. My husband attempted to clarify by asking if another room was available. She repeated, "this is the room you've been assigned and if you want two queen beds, this is what has been assigned." After a day of travel...on the road since 7am and it was now 8:15pm, we were just ready to take a shower and get ready for bed. No complaints, however, we noted that her customer service skills were extremely poor. After looking at the room, I saw that there were only two washcloths and towels in the room. I asked Andrea for two more. We're a family of four and made a reservation for four. Andrea promptly said, " if there are no more in the laundry room, then we don't have anymore." I had to asked her if she would check. She said she would and later called our room to tell us that the towels/washcloths would not be available until 9am. It's unfortunate that I need to prompt a customer service professional to respond to such a basic request. Also why didn't housekeeping leave a reserve of towels/washcloths for guests? Room Quality: The sheets were stained. On one bed it looked like a woman's foundation makeup was smeared along the top edge of the white comforter. Multiple pen marks and smudge marks were on the sheets. How hard is it to bleach white sheets? Were they even washed? My husband called Andrea and asked her to come and see the condition of the room. I'm not sure of the conversation that ensued, but in about one minute, Andrea called us back and said she could move us to another room. We are thankful that she promptly addressed the cleanliness issue and miraculously was able to find us a similar room on a higher level. Note: On arrival we asked for similar room on a higher floor and Andrea was unable to clearly articulate why we couldn't be moved. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families with young children. Customer service is lacking. Cleanliness is questionable. There are other hotel options in the area.

It was a good stay, right in the heart of Brooklyn. Easy to catch the bus to go anywhere. Because of the price not sure if I would stay there again. I don't understand why all of Brooklyn is so expensive. No microwave in the room, you had to use the one in the breakfast nuck. The ice machine worked every other day.
