So delighted with our stay! The place is beautiful, far exceeded our expectations. The staff couldn’t have been better - so kind and helpful. Will always stay here for any future trips. LOVED IT.

Stayed here Oct. 2025. Very disappointing. The carpet in our room had a large hole and was quite worn. The mattress was like sleeping on a board. The dresser had only one drawer that would open. The bathroom was outdated 30 years ago, and the grout has never been cleaned as there was black mold in the shower and on some of the grout. The linens, towels and sheets, were of the poorest quality. The carpet on the stairs was torn on every step. The whole hotel needs extensive upkeep and remodeling. Comments from previous reviews from 2 years ago state the same problems and management keeps responding that remodeling is underway. This is not happening, nor is it ever going to happen. No mini frig. is hard for travelers. The best thing was staff and the breakfast was excellent. The price was outrageous compared to the quality. I highly recommend to stay somewhere else.

After researching and reading up on several hotels in the downtown Buffalo area we decided to give the Mansion on Delaware a try. We were in town for the Goo Goo Dolls concert this past weekend. I called ahead to let the hotel know we would be arriving prior to our 4 O’clock check in. We arrived around 2:30 PM. As with most hotels our room was not ready the front desk wrote down my name and number and said they would call when it was ready. We went for drinks down the street. The hotel never called so shortly after 4 we returned and were given our room key. No one showed us to our room. We never saw a “Butler” our entire trip. After making our way to our room it was less than what I expected from pictures online. The room is was quite tired. Lots of wear and tear, and no mini fridge or mini bar for a 4 diamond property seems a bit lacking. The cookies they left for us, and the print out with the forecast and offered amenities were nice. However, the Ant trap in the corner of the room and two centipede we found in the bathroom while we were getting ready was disappointing. The bartender and the complimentary drinks were great. The breakfast was decent and the grounds were fairly maintained. However, the entire place needs some updating and refreshing. What really made us choose this property was the peerless service they advertise. Unfortunately, it was lacking greatly. We were not impressed and will not return.
