Onanda by the Lake

Fanatic stay at a beautiful property! Our first time on this lake and it was perfect. The atmosphere was private and we had a view of the lake! The property has a hiking trial and is close to a park right on the lake. The accommodations and conversation were perfect!

My wife and I stayed for five nights at this lovely B & B exploring the Finger Lakes region. The host, Linda, maintains a beautiful home and exemplifies true hospitality. The whole house has a touch of class about it and Linda makes you feel so welcome with her superbly presented breakfasts and warm conversation. We stayed in the Lake View Suite which has a sitting room with views of the sunrise over the Canandaigua lake in front. The house is about a 10 minute drive from Canandaigua which has a number of restaurants and food outlets. With this as a base, we explored the stunning countryside and the wineries - the towns of Seneca, Geneva and Ithaca and the Watkins Glen and Taughannock falls State Parks. Staying at Linda's home made the experience all the better. We will certainly come back here if we get the chance. Thank you, Linda, for making our holiday so memorable.

We loved our stay at Onanda by the Lake! We were in town for a wedding and spent 2 nights here. Linda was a great hostess and the breakfast both mornings was delicious! The bed was comfortable and the view was fabulous! We loved the town and hope to visit again in the near future!
