Best Western The Inn at Buffalo Airport

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!! I had a room reservation at this hotel to stay with my family which includes a toddler. A lady at the hotel called me and cancelled my reservation saying there is an emergency at the hotel and that they have to cancel all reservations until December 2023. They will not offer me a refund although they are the ones who cancelled. Chris, the front desk person, straight out lied to the third party rep who contacted them for the refund and he told them that I went there and refused a room, which is untrue. I have never experienced such a horrible situation where the hotel is itself trying to SCAM ME!!!! Expedia should not even market such a terrible hotel!!!

I arrived at the hotel to check-in and was informed that all prior booked guest rooms were given away to a large group who booked the entire hotel. I was told this was a corporate decision and that all guests who had booked prior reservations would have to go to a different hotel. I've never had a hotel chain just give away my room without even notifying me. Completely unacceptable. I've been a Best Western Platinum member for a long time and usually stay at their properties whenever possible. Going forward, I'll look at other hotel chains first. Way to go Best Western, you're doing a great job alienating your customers.

Made a reservation for this hotel when I showed up my reservation was canceled by the hotel because they were housing migrants from outside of the country so they threw everybody out too House the migrants. Always stayed at this hotel but will not ever again after this happened.
