Edelweiss Lodge

We were awakened by BATS in our room!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. I am a young woman who stayed here with her 3 young children. I woke at 1am to flapping in my face. Upon turning the flashlight on my phone, the room was infested with bats. I had to wake my children, we rolled off of our beds and army crawled out of the room. The hotel manager was less than helpful. He wouldn't refund our money or get an exterminator to get us one of the bats to send to the CDC for rabies testing. He also called the police and had us removed from the property. The police suggested I get a lawyer and open a civil suit against the property. The health department called and because the manager wouldn't work with us to get a bat, myself and my children will need to get rabies shots, including my 8 year old daughter. I am beyond upset and wanted to make this known to hopefully save someone else the trouble.

It was bad. The carpet was bad, the heater leaked on the floor, everything was dated and dirty. Never again.
