Howard Johnson Liberty Ny

I usually stay away from places with bad reviews, but made an exception because of the cheap price. Knights Inn has obviously seen better days, and despite the very nice staff, you just can't overlook the fact it is pretty downtrodden and the people who're staying there long term aren't very friendly. The pool has been closed for a while, the parking lot is full of sus people shooting the breeze and the rooms have switched from magnetic keys to metal keys. Inside my room the wallpaper was coming off, there was a missing lampshade there was a gaping hole. I did see a bug. It's very unfortunate since it's seen better times, and it's riding its previous history to lure travelers. But if the reviews are bad, there's a reason for it.

Crack shack hotel! Dead roaches from recent fumigation. Dirty as hell. Crack heads and junkies living in the building up all night. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough! How codes in Liberty allows this dump to stay open is beyond comprehension.

Had to leave and cancel before even coming in there were people doing drugs in front of the building and no joke I the building was practically crumbling. I wouldn’t let my sister anywhere near there. Extremely misleading pictures just update the pictures clean up the place and be honest about how the place is run/looks/the people very sure it is a welfare based hotel. I wish I got photos to show how bad it actually was.
